Currently, there are 16 members of faculty available in the department. All faculty members have degrees from prestigious institutions across the country and have immense exposure to industry. RAT-2013 Our College Organised RAT-2013 a National level Conference for two days (15.02.13 & 16.02.13) twenty papers were presented under Mechnaicall Engineering. The delegates from various institutions from all over India presented their research work and innovations in various Specialisation of Mechanical Engineering.
The department organized a one day National level Symposium SAME12. The delegates from various institutions from all over India presented their research work and innovations in various specialisation of Mechanical Engineering.
The department organized a one day Project Model Contest for the Polytechnic Students. The delegates from various institutions from all over Tamilnadu presented their project models. It is a project model contest; the students from 16 polytechnic colleges of 477 students attended the function. The chief guest Mr.Ayavoo distributed the prizes for the best and overall performance
The department organized one week staff development programme on “ CNC TRAINING PROGRAMME ” during June 20 to June 27, 2012.
